Well where do I start? First of all I have to apologise for not blogging for such a long time but if i'm honest i should have stuck with it instead of getting wrapped up in numbers. So all of you out there wondering if you should do a blog but worried if anyone will be interested, I say do it but be consistent.
So all my Christmas stock is in and selling, much better than last year. I've made loads of kits and even get enquiries when I haven't got them out yet. I still have loads of ideas but I think they will come out in the coming year as I have a tendency to take on too much. SO much so I forget to eat and drink ......and wash!
I have started a beginners quilting club for those of you who have dabbled or just started with quilting and want to make their own quilt but just need guidance but not a tutorial. This is once a month at the moment but will be twice a month in the new year. A bit like a club coffee, cake , chat and company, 2 hours for £7.50.
I have Selinna in the shop now who take on large alterations(party/bridal). She is a qualified costume designer and will be holding classes next year from dress making to getting to know your overlocker. What she doesn't know about fabrics for dress making isn't worth knowing.
By the way I have started selling upcycled decor-furniture and accessories. Something I have always had a passion for and thought it would be great to start now. With this I will be selling Fairy Chic paint which is a beautiful chalk paint and comes in many colour. This will all be on the Blossom Trees link on my page(when I get round to it)
Lastly I have been nominated for best New Business in Gloucester. I am going to a big'do' on 28th November and will take lots of pictures, before I've had too much to drink obviously!
On a lighter note, I have a dog in my window, he is a proper wired mannequin dog. You wouldn't believe how many people want to buy him!!! I should have gone into dog mannequin business.
I have loads more to tell you but will keep in short for now ...Ha!
Enjoy your weekend and will blog again next Friday, Happy Crafting!
